Theory as Practise Seminar: The Poetics Open Work

We were asked to summarise the meaning in 'The poetics of Open Works' in a group of four. Each one of us got different poem we take turns writing down our perspectives in all of the poems. I wrote on the poem I received which was called "The Confusion of Power" by Joshua Davis. There was quotation paragraph " It is more rewarding to explore than to reach conclusion; more satisfying to wonder than to know; and more exciting to search then to stay put." it gives the idea that you will have to fail in order to succeed and that the future is more exciting when you know there is more to explore. I felt like the quotation was his motto and something his future self needs to follow.
